The bands next release quickly follows and coincides with a European tour in October. A five track cassette entitled ‘Acquiescence’ is a co-release between UK labels Hail Hail and EDILS Records (digitally through Bleeding Gold) will be available from October 14th. A more experimental and ambient collection compared to its predecessor, ‘Acquiescence’ see’s Oh Well, Goodbye use drums loops and keyboards for the first time on half of the tracks while still touching upon the band’s pop sensibilities and downbeat ‘post punk’ sound. This leads nicely into the final release of the trilogy; ‘I Know, I Know, I Know’ which is a remix EP comprised of tracks from both ‘Swoon’ and ‘Acquiescence’. Hitting the world wide web on November 11th, again through Bleeding Gold, the digital only release features remixes by a host of acts including Dignan Porch (Faux Discx/Captured Tracks), Gorgeous Bully (Art Is Hard), Moonlit Sailor (Deep Elm) and new comers such as Dayflower and Grave Diggers Union.

Les guitares se font sensibles et se mélangent harmonieusement aux discrets claviers pour donner naissance à une dream pop que des groupes comme Cocteau Twins ou Talula Gosh ne renieraient certainement pas.
Certains pourraient reprocher un manque criant d’originalité, d’autres groupes s’étant déjà pliés à l’exercice, de Seapony à Beach Fossils pour ne citer que les derniers…

You know summer has truly arrived when Charleston’s Tape Waves release a new record.
Not only does the duo’s sonic aesthetic conjure up the essence of a beach breeze, but their sound also seems to encapsulate an emotional longing with which it’s nearly impossible not to relate.
The band’s second album, Here To Fade is slated for release on 29 July via Bleeding Gold Records, and the latest cut ‘Standing In Line’ is the perfect introduction to Tape Waves’ approach to soulful dream pop.
The track rushes in with echo chamber guitars interweaving an intoxicating melody before Kim Hart Weldin’s vocals rise like a plush hit of summer air.
But the song’s summery disposition belies a knowingly sombre subject matter. The band say this of the track:

Tape Waves are dreampop duo, Jared and Kim Weldin from Charleston, SC. The band are set to release their sophomore album ‘Here To Fade’ on 29th July 2016 and the first track from the album is ‘So Fast‘.
For a track which instrumentation is almost quite folky in nature regarding the guitar and basslines, this dreampop track is not typical of its counterparts. This is only a good thing and makes ‘So Fast’ a rather unique track. The soft vocals throughout are contrasting to the instrumentation, drowned in reverb in which the colourful guitar melodies stand out against.
The track ‘So Fast’ will be available on Tape Waves next album ‘Here To Fade’ which will be released at the end of this month, but for now, you can listen to it via Soundcloud below.
Formed in the fall of 2015, Spooky Cigarette is an homage to new wave, no wave, and post punk. With fluorescent guitars, cumulonimbus synths, and a dusk bass, Spooky Cigarette is the subtly decorated borders of night and day. As loud as I Can is both haunting and comfortable, like writhing in a chaise to find the perfect position.

Giant Giants is an Asheville/Atlanta based music project headed by UNCA music graduate Reid Weigner. Begun as a solo project in 2009, the group has expanded and evolved to include many talented musicians from the southeastern US. Giant Giants third album, “A Sudden Punch,” features a collaboration with long time friend and creative writer John McIntyre. The album is set to be released Friday March 25th, 2016 on the San Diego, CA based label Bleeding Gold Records.

Rose Chariot is the moniker of 26-year-old Mancunian producer/musician Ross Marriott. His new material – recorded between Manchester and Lisbon – is colourful, dramatic and dense, drawing from influences such as Jai Paul, The Cardigans, Grimes, Foals, Prince, Björk and Interpol.
“Last year I moved to Lisbon, Portugal, where I was based for a year,” explains Ross. “It was a really interesting time; I got mugged twice, ended up in hospital, and also met some really fascinating people. With the new songs, I tried to capture the feeling of living in a new place where everything’s exciting, raw and mysterious. It was a huge contrast to the ‘coldness’ of England, so I tried to
use that as my inspiration.”
