Formed in Liverpool at the start of 2012, So sexual are a four piece post punk band. The band have steadily built a strong set of contemporary, progressive songs that manage to capture and nurture the combined influences of the quartets formative years. Their forlorn gothic melodies thinly veil often uplifting undertones that never stray too far from the next hook. This is pop music for the disenchanted.
Having created a buzz amongst their local scene on shows with the likes of Death Masks, The Shondes, British Sea Power and Outfit, and following on from the release of first single ‘This is where the story ends’, the band prepare to take a step up with new release ‘Transient Scenes’ on Bleeding Gold Records (Just Handshakes, Songs for Walter, Indoor Voices). Recorded over a single weekend in the bands home city of Liverpool this is the sound of a band that having found its feet is preparing to run.
