10 Bleeding Gold cover songs by other Bleeding Gold artists!!
Bleeding Gold will be slowing down for the remainder of the year. We are taking a break to reassess the current musical landscape, pay off some serious business debt and return to the fold at a later date with a new business plan that will be better for the artists, the label, and most importantly, the fans.
The download is FREE – but if there is anything you can give, know that the money will go into helping Bleeding Gold return like a phoenix!
It is with great pleasure that I am now able to alert you all to the latest installment of the collaboration between Bleeding Gold Records and Paris-based singer-songwriter Marc Desse. 2 new jams of new wavey, power-pop goodness. lead single ‘Video Club’ is a New Romantic sing-along featuring the vocals of Anne. B-side ‘Tu Sais’ kicks up the gears a bit. Both feature on the first picture disc in the BGR discography, and it turned out quite beautifully.
Benjamin Schoos is a producer and songwriter based in Belgium who some of you may also know as Miam Monster Miam, radio and Tv presenter and Freaksville Records label-dude. He’s been making mixes/music since the late 90s and has become the go-to garage-pop auteur of Brussels. He’s also been known to drop a Bleeding Gold artist or two on his podcasts – Marc Desse & ALEXROSSI. He’s planning for a new full-length album release in 2012 on his Freaksville label, but also has this rad cassette out from our friends at CALI Records. Small world, indeed!
These two tracks are featured on the cassette along with bonus material, all digi-downloadable with purchase. Get on it! These will sell out.
Marc Desse has a brand-spankin’-new EP called (ROMANCE)available digitally on BandCamp. Some of these songs will appear on his debut full-length with Bleeding Gold in 2012, but these are ready to be heard now. We are offering the first track Mona et moi as a free download in exchange for your email.
If you guys liked his track Petite Anne from last months split 7″ with The Pipers, (ROMANCE)will further implant Marc’s footprint on the International Pop scene – or perhaps just Us lot for now!
Bleeding Gold Records is happy to announce our very first 7″ for the label – a split between The Pipers (Aaron of THE NOTES) and Paris-based singer-songwriter Marc Desse. Limited Edition of 300 vinyls.
The Pipers are better known as Aaron from THE NOTES, but he is quickly making a name for himself under his solo Pipers moniker. His songs evoke a feeling of nostalgia for a certain bygone time fond to a lot of us! We’re looking forward to hearing more from him soon.
Marc Desse gives us a big dose of Parisian Pop with his french-sung contribution to the 7″ – “Petite Anne“ is just a small taste of what’s to come on Bleeding Gold from Monsieur Desse in the coming months. Up next – an EP called (Romance) coming out digitally Nov 7th, with plans for a full length album in 2012. Big Pop Plans People!
This collection of songs is a work-in-progress to showcase the upcoming releases on Bleeding Gold Records. The tracklisting may change over time and is only available to stream for now. Hope you like it!
