Boys Age is a Japanese indie-rock band formed by singer-songwriter Kaznary Mutow and Takamasa Kobayashi on a balmy autumn sunny day in 2010.
The band continues to draw experimental sounds, iffy and romantic lyrics and instrumental songs.
Boys Age is a founder of independent music club/private label “Rye on the All Golden Music Company” (Label was started in summer 2012), based in Saitama, Japan.
Boys Age have been gradually gaining attention because their songs are unique sounding due of the “ignorance” of the band. The band’s sound is inspired by Yo la Tengo, The Doors, Television, The Velvet Underground and Van Dyke Parks.
All songs written by Kaznary Mutow and Recorded by the Boys Age early Winter through late Winter 2013 in Saitama, Japan.
Additional recording, mixing & mastering by Kaznary Mutow in his bedroom and bathroom.
