Tyrannosaurus Dead are a 5 piece band hailing from Brighton, England, that make melodic, fuzzed out, noise pop.

Taking their current form in 2011, the getting-started story is spectacularly standard, going something like… Billy (Guitar & Vocals) had some songs, Tom (Bass) moved to Brighton from Billy’s hometown, after a few practices they asked Rupert (Drums) then Martin (Guitar) and eventually Eleanor (Vocals) to join.

Contrary to the lack of excitement in their formation, Tyrannosaurus Dead immediately set out on a string of successful shows in their formative Brighton, playing alongside The Wave Pictures, Shrag, The Primitives, and The Growlers (US).

Having previously worked with DIY collective Reeks Of Effort, who put out their four-track EP ‘Lemonade‘ on cassette last August and split cassette ‘GUTS‘, Tyrannosaurus Dead have recently signed with Odd Box records to release Pure // Apart, a 6 track ep available on ltd 12″ vinyl, recorded and produced with Rory Attwell (Yuck, Veronica Falls, Male Bonding and Fear Of Men).

Bleeding Gold will be releasing a limited edition 7″ lathe-cut featuring 2 brand new T-Dead summer jams.

Tyrannosaurus Dead have secured a busy schedule for the remainder of 2013.

A UK winter tour is currently in the workings!
