The second full-length release from South Wales’ HEHFU on Bleeding Gold. This time we find Bradley writing songs about the demise of the relationship that was the theme of the first album, Music For My Broken Ears. The contrast shows in the rawer sound; more lo-fi, if that is even possible, and more heart-on-his-sleeve than ever. We hope you enjoy this collection of relationship exorcisms as much as we do.

Sex Dream is the solo project of San Francisco Bay Area musician, Benjamin W. Jameson.  Benjamin’s debut record attempts to widen the relationship between bass, guitar, and drums by employing restraint and independence between the instruments.  Benjamin’s influence comes from the sonic boundaries around an electric guitar as well as the understated power of an interesting bass-line.  He currently works out of Martinez and Oakland, CA.

France’s Blanche As A Name present some Americana-tinged pop from their debut EP Ravens, featuring an exclusive 3rd track available only with the purchase of the Frost single. Limited edition half-n-half clear and blue vinyl 7″ single in a gorgeous matte cover.

BG025 | Mmdelai EP

This new Mmdelai EP might remind you of Portishead, Quantic or U.N.K.L.E. – not the usual suspects of Bleeding Gold inspirations. This one’s got a spacier/dancier feel. You might recognize the vocals – a one Annemarie Duff of BGR newcomers Miniatures. Annemarie has recently made a move from her native New Zealand and hopped shores to Melbourne, Australia, seeking new inspiration from a new city. A new band will be formed and plans for a new EP are in the works. For now you can enjoy a free download of the EP or grab a copy on 1989′s favorite format – the cassette tape.

This is our first release from TIM CHAPLINDaisy Chain Fridays – a cassette/digital EP of a few favorites from the two upcoming full-lengths on Bleeding Gold Records in 2012. Tim’s been recording under his own name as well as the monikers LUMINOUS and Factory Kids, his partnership with singer Christina Marie. This EP collection shows Tim exploring Shoegaze, Bedroom Pop and Electronica, starting with the blown-out sounds of title track Daisy Chain Fridays and ending with the pulsing blood-whispers of This One, an exclusive tracks to this EP. This summer will see the release of the first full-length, Broken So Bad, a newly remastered collection of some of Tim’s best songs from the last decade.

BG021 | ALLIGATOR INDIAN Spring I’m In

BandCamp | iTunes

Spring I’m In launches opportunely enough at the cusp of the season, but the recording process originally had Alligator Indian beginning work in their mountain retreat, the Rainbow Reservation, shortly after the summer release of their Football EP with Bleeding Gold. The resultant sound files came across like a worn out copy of Simon Reynold’s post-punk opus Rip It Up and Start Again dropped in a vat of lysergic acid diethylamide, if they may be so bold. And if’n they mayn’t, let’s just say it’s pretty not so bad. The aural constructs begin with a blistering sci-fi tale of a world where tyrannical governments mandate who a citizen can become betrothed to. From there, themes and sounds shift between fuzzy post-pop, a cappella bursts of vocals, and industrial cries for contentment.

Available on ‘CosmicPurple’ or Classic Black vinyl and CASSETTE.
